Objective:
To promote green practices towards the protection and sustainability of the earth’s environment while mitigating the impact of environmental degradation and disasters across human societies.
ELOHIM Foundation promotes environmental sustainability through integrated programmes that address climate change, ecosystem degradation, and pollution while advancing circular economy solutions. Our interventions include forestation and ecological restoration, biodiversity conservation, environmental education, climate change adaptation programming and research, environmental safety, disaster risk reduction and recovery, watershed management, and food security through climate-smart agriculture.
As part of our commitment to building a healthy and resilient human environment, ELOHIM Foundation actively promotes sustainable waste management, particularly the recovery, recycling, and up-cycling of plastic waste into valuable products. Through our circular economy initiatives, plastic waste such as PET, HDPE, LDPE, and PP is transformed into durable construction materials, including interlocking paving stones and other infrastructure solutions. This approach reduces environmental pollution, prevents drainage blockage and flooding, creates green jobs, and converts waste into economic opportunities for communities.
We also promote biogas systems and other waste-to-wealth innovations that convert organic and inorganic waste into renewable energy, sustainable materials, and income-generating products, supporting both environmental protection and livelihood development.
ELOHIM Foundation’s Environmental Intervention Programmes are implemented through people-centred approaches that engage governments, private sector actors, research institutions, and local communities to strengthen policies, systems, and practical solutions for environmental sustainability.
In addition, ELOHIM Foundation promotes integrated agroforestry systems in strong partnership with government and communities as a nature-based climate adaptation solution. These initiatives support ecological restoration of degraded land, enhance biodiversity conservation, strengthen climate resilience, and provide culturally appropriate and economically viable livelihood opportunities—particularly for rural women and youth.
