Entrepreneurship development: Business Visioning & Management, Financial Literacy & Inclusion
Program Objective:
To empower beneficiaries with culture sensitive and economical viable business based enterprise through skill acquisition apprenticeship, equipment/tools acquisition and entrepreneurship development coaching for self-employment.
Elohim Foundation Entrepreneurship development program aims at building the capacity of beneficiaries with basic entrepreneurship knowledge and skill acquisition in diverse fields of hand craft and small scale business. The program identifies and partners with skill centres within the location of program beneficiaries and attaches them to the centres for fixed period of apprenticeship training and at the end, the beneficiaries are given coaching lessons on how to start and run their chosen trade of business while they are also supported with start-up equipment’s and tools as appropriate.
In addition, Elohim Foundation promotes financial literacy & inclusion among rural and vulnerable community households, individuals and groups. These we achieve through setting up of village savings and loans associations (VSLA) aimed at improving financial access and understanding among marginalized population while empowering and fostering sustainable growth within these communities.
